Youth Financial Literacy
We offer Financial Literacy workshops for youth and young adults four times a year. In partnership with three financial advisors we have worked to create a simulation style workshop that allows students to pick their career, learn to budget, gain understanding on the impact of credit, and the importance of investing. Students have to make decisions on groceries, rent, transportation and entertainment and recreation.
Bi-Annual Fundraising Events
We host a Golf Outing fundraiser weekend complete with networking events, a business round table, and a power brunch! We will get the opportunity to raise money for our programs and bring more awareness to what we do!.
In November we will host our scholarship Gala that will help us do two things first, raise money for the scholarships and second allow our donors to meet some of our participants. We will also take this time to recognize some of our youth that have been impacted because of their involvement with our program. As we strive to expand our program we are looking for individuals to help our children bring out their creative side through writing, painting, drawing, singing and dancing. If you have a talent in one or more of these areas, we need you.
