About Us
After several years of mentoring and working with the youth ministry in my church I grew an appreciation for the impact that mentoring has had on the lives of youth that I have been blessed to cultivate relationships with. Realizing that a large number of youth in middle school and high school lack positive role models and positive activities to participate in after school. In 2013 I began hosting workshops that helped youth address current issues that they face in their day to day lives. These topics include but are not limited to conflict resolution, bullying, and social media impact on self image. In 2015 The Joseph Legacy officially became a nonprofit organization in the State of Ohio and in 2018 the name was changed to the Joseph Legacy DBA Momentous Mentoring. We are a tax exempt 501(c)3. We are most known for our Amazing HBCU College Tours, but I am so excited for all the events we have planned for 2023 and our continuous growth!
